About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate Accounting to lead the financial reporting for its dynamic real estate investment portfolio. Key duties include analyzing financial statements and metrics, engaging with external auditors and tax professionals, and preparing financial materials for internal and investor communications. The role also involves managing and overseeing outsourced accounting staff, driving continuous improvement in accounting processes, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the accounting team.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, a CPA certification, and at least 8 years of experience in real estate accounting. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and fair value reporting standards is essential, as is a proven track record in managing complex real estate investment structures and agreements. The role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a demonstrated commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
