Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for projects in Jacksonville, FL. This onsite role is responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll serve as the key point of contact on-site, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to completion

Manage subcontractors, schedules, and daily site operations

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations

Coordinate inspections and ensure quality control across all phases

Review plans, specifications, and project documentation

Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to project managers and stakeholders

Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or residential construction

Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials

Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and multiple trades

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and job site compliance

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ground-up construction projects

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
