
Construction Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent who is willing to travel throughout California and lead field operations on complex commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership in the field, keeps projects moving safely and efficiently, and works well with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
What You’ll Do
Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Plan, schedule, implement, and coordinate project activities with subcontractors, clients, and internal project teams
Collaborate with project management, field engineers, craft employees, and subcontractors throughout all phases of construction
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and construction documents
Monitor construction methods, workmanship, and compliance with applicable regulations and project requirements
Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced jobsite environment
Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders and support proactive problem-solving in the field
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in commercial construction
3–5 years of experience in a general construction supervision role
Experience with ground-up construction and tenant improvements/remodels
Experience managing projects such as big-box retail, open-store remodels, grocery, restaurant, industrial, and entertainment builds
Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, procedures, and regulations
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Bluebeam, MS Excel, Procore, and similar construction software
Self-starter with strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV report
Must be willing and able to travel throughout California
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000 – $130,000 per year DOE
