Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for driving safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination while serving as the on-site leader and primary point of execution.
Key Responsibilities
Champion a
safety-first culture , ensuring full compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations
Lead all
field operations , coordinating with Project Management, Estimating, and Ownership teams
Develop and manage
project schedules and production plans
aligned with budget and safety goals
Oversee
subcontractor performance , ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and contract terms
Maintain all
project documentation
including daily reports, progress tracking, and compliance logs
Review
plans, drawings, and shop submittals
to ensure alignment with contract documents
Manage
materials, tools, and equipment procurement
to support project timelines
Determine and manage
staffing levels , including hiring and directing field personnel
Partner with HR on
workforce management , payroll oversight, and conflict resolution
Coordinate with inspectors and officials to ensure successful
regulatory compliance and inspections
Proactively identify and resolve
construction challenges
to maintain project momentum
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in
commercial construction
Proven experience as a
Lead Superintendent
on at least one project
Experience managing projects up to
$80M
preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
Capable of standing, climbing, lifting (up to 70 lbs), and performing physical site duties
Comfortable working at heights and in environments with noise, dust, and equipment
