Job Description
Fulfillment Specialist
– Part‑time – 214 E Liberty St, Mexico, MO 65265. Up to 28 hours per week, shift 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Overview
Embark on your journey as a Part‑time Fulfillment Specialist, where you will take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing Fastenal’s industry‑leading vending program. This role involves a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. You will perform deliveries, replenish managed inventory programs, and maintain equipment.
Responsibilities
Make deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites.
Perform replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment.
Interact with customers while making deliveries.
Place and fulfill orders at customer sites.
Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
Qualified Position Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Current full valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located and ability to meet driving record requirements.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Highly motivated, self‑directed, and customer‑service oriented.
Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
Work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.
Pass required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam only).
Pass background check required by a customer/contract serviced by this location.
Preferred Position Qualifications
Previous customer service or industry‑related work experience.
