Job Description
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for driving both
new business development and client retention
by building strong relationships with prospects, clients, and centers of influence. The role requires a consultative approach—understanding business risks, asking the right questions, and delivering tailored Property & Casualty insurance solutions.
On the sales side, you will create and execute a Personal Excellence Plan, actively generate leads, deliver presentations for new and renewal business, and follow the company’s TotalRISK sales methodology. You will also cross-sell services, generate referrals, and participate in team-based selling efforts.
From a service perspective, you will proactively manage renewals, review proposals, and work closely with internal teams to design appropriate coverage solutions. You will ensure accurate documentation in Epic, resolve client issues related to claims, billing, and coverage, and maintain a profitable book of business.
You will also play a key role in
community and professional engagement , attending industry events, contributing to associations, participating in non-profits, and delivering presentations. Continuous learning and execution of your Personal Excellence Plan will be essential to your success.
Experience You Will Need
Active
California Property & Casualty License
(required)
Strong experience in
Property & Casualty insurance sales / advisory
Proven track record of
meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience in
client relationship management and retention
Ability to understand business risks and provide tailored insurance solutions
Background working within an
insurance brokerage or agency environment

Property & Casualty insurance expertise
Client-facing communication and relationship management
Ability to generate and grow a book of business
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Experience with CRM/AMS systems (Epic preferred)
