Description
Sign‑on Bonus: $1,000 paid in three installments—$500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days after hire—if the employee is in good standing (no documented performance challenges).

Responsibilities
Accurately input all employee changes into the HRIS system; experience with Paylocity preferred.
Prepare HR paperwork and verify accuracy and compliance: new hire, status change, termination, transfer, promotion/demotion.
Advise managers on HR/payroll process, timelines, and employee paperwork guidelines.
Maintain working knowledge of benefits administration; assist with open enrollments, billing for employees on leave or furlough.
Support department in implementing and executing HR programs and procedures for all employees.
Assist in organizational training and development efforts.
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager or Director as needed.
Complete daily Verification of Employment and unemployment claim responses via phone, email, or paper.
Generate reports requested by managers or administrative staff.
Collaborate with payroll administrator to resolve payroll discrepancies, input deduction agreements, and issue manual paychecks.
Continuously seek new HR processes; update/create forms and the HR manual for use across all locations.
Post job ads and implement recruiting processes.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or 3–5 years of hands‑on HR experience.
Extensive knowledge of HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of HR principles and practices to serve as an effective resource.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
Strong planning, organizing, and time‑management skills.
Problem‑solving skills with timely resolution and thorough analysis.
Self‑starter who takes initiative and follows through on projects.
Sound judgment and timely decision making.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.
Specific Certifications Required
Must obtain a Colorado Division of Gaming Support License.
Salary
$26 / hr – $29 / hr
Salary Description
