Job Description
As an NBCUniversal Academic Year Intern, you will work on real projects, be part of our collaborative culture, and receive the support needed to grow across two full semesters. The internship focuses on media, entertainment, and technology, and you will contribute to meaningful work while building skills that matter.

Program Dates:
September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
Time Commitment:
16–24 hours per week (exact schedule to be determined based on business need)

Internship Placement Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Entertainment Print Design:
Creation and design of static print materials across NBC Entertainment brand platforms. Interns work with the Creative Team – Creative Director, Designers, Copy Writers, and Production Artists.
Qualifications
Actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027). December 2026 graduates are not eligible.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Available to work 16–24 hours per week during the program dates.
Willing to work in Universal City, CA.
Students currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g., F‑1 CPT, F‑1 OPT, J‑1, M‑1) are not eligible unless they can change to a status that grants U.S. work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
Desired Characteristics
Class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Interest in typography, branding and layout, publicity and/or marketing preferred.
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), AVID, DAM systems a plus.
Passion for entertainment and pop culture.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
