Role Description
This is a contract position, on-site role for a Commercial Auto Business Analyst based in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area. The Business Analyst will be responsible for,
Review and interpret
merged ISO Commercial Auto manuals
Analyze and integrate
Optional Class Plan (OCP) updates
with Merchants-adopted rules
Develop a
single, consolidated rating manual/documentation
reflecting the unified ruleset
Collaborate with
CAP IT Analysts
to understand existing Merchants processes and support ongoing project change requests
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all rating documentation to minimize rework and improve efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
8–10 years of experience in
Commercial Auto insurance rating
Strong expertise with
ISO rating manuals and rule interpretation
Proven experience working with
OCP (Optional Class Plan) changes
Ability to translate complex rating structures into clear, usable documentation
Strong collaboration and communication skills
