Position Overview:
The intake specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a critical role in shaping the client experience. This individual will be responsible for handling inbound calls, evaluating potential cases, and ensuring a seamless and empathetic intake processparticularly for Spanish-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming inquiries (phone, email, web)
Conduct initial client screenings and gather detailed case information
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support a diverse client base
Assess case viability and escalate qualified leads to the appropriate legal team
Maintain accurate and detailed records within the firm's case management system
Provide a high level of professionalism, empathy, and urgency in all client interactions
Follow up with prospective clients to ensure engagement and retention
Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm, call center, or client intake role preferred
Experience in personal injury or legal environment strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficiency with CRM or case management systems
