Job Overview
Reporting & Insights Analyst – Human Capital Programmatic Evaluation & Compliance (Environmental Scanning & Benchmarking) – NSF0108108. This role supports federal science agency HR modernization, focusing on human capital solutions and environmental scanning & benchmarking for the National Science Foundation.
Location
Hybrid work in Alexandria, VA and the Mid Atlantic Region.
Responsibilities
Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation, enhancing data‑driven decision‑making using advanced analytics and business intelligence.
Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies, facilitating the integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools.
Conduct environmental scans and benchmarking analyses using publicly available federal data to compare NSF’s human capital metrics, programs, and outcomes with peer agencies, and provide insights and recommendations.
Create reports, dashboards, and compliance evidence to support leadership decision‑making.
Maintain accurate documentation and insights from benchmarking data.
Qualifications
4+ years of reporting experience in a relevant government or public services sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Data, Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proficiency with business intelligence tools, advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and project management methodologies.
Strong analytical, organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
