We are a
luxury interior design firm
seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant / Associate Interior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong design foundation, refined aesthetic sensibility, and a passion for creating high-end, thoughtfully curated interiors. The position requires hands-on collaboration with senior designers and active involvement in all phases of the design process. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of luxury residential and/or commercial interior design projects from concept through installation Prepare high-quality design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes Create and maintain CAD drawings, space plans, and construction documents Source premium furniture, finishes, fixtures, and accessories aligned with project budgets and design intent Manage purchasing activities including placing orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating with vendors Maintain and organize project documentation related to purchasing, including invoices, purchase orders, and specification documents Coordinate with vendors, artisans, contractors, and consultants Support project management tasks including timelines, budgets, and procurement tracking Conduct site visits, field measurements, and installation support Maintain organized project files, specifications, and overall documentation Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of experience
at an interior design firm (required) Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Revit a plus) Strong understanding of space planning, materials, and construction detailing Experience working on high-end or luxury projects preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-person studio environment Detail-oriented with a strong design sensibility and problem-solving mindset What We Offer
