Job Description
Phlebotomist III Float – Tampa, FL. Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The float role involves covering patient service centers, doctor‑offices, and other business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $23.86+ per hour. Salary depends on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Cover assigned territory, performing phlebotomy duties at patient service centers, doctor’s offices, or as directed.
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, instruct new employees, and serve as a resource advisor for on‑site staff.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, Washington).
Experience
Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum three years in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Must effectively communicate in English.
