Senior Accountant (Hoffman Estates)

TE Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing and distribution company that is looking to add a
Senior Accountant
to their team. This role will work closely with leadership and play a key part in managing and guiding the company’s financial operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own core general accounting functions including cash, AR, fixed assets, expense reporting, and overall GL activity
Lead month-end close and assist with quarterly/year-end processes
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and account accruals
Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy across all accounts
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning
Analyze P&L performance, including customer/program-level profitability
Build reports and provide insights on trends, variances, and cost drivers
Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis tied to business initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to support day-to-day operations
What They’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA or working toward it is a plus
Strong understanding of month-end close and GL processes
Experience with AR/AP workflows
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Someone who can pivot in a fast-paced environment and take ownership
Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
