Position Overview
Pediatric Dental Group is a specialty pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a fun, supportive, and family-friendly environment. We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is positive, dependable, and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Pediatric dental experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Obtain and document patient medical histories from parent/guardian
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings), as permitted by certification
Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
Provide post-operative instructions following procedures
Educate families on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition
Prepare, set up, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
Support front and back office tasks as needed (scheduling, phones, charting, stocking supplies)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) – required
Florida xmvmafu Dental Radiographer (X-ray) certification – required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Pediatric dental experience preferred
