Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) - Pediatric Dentistry (Full-Time)
Position Overview
Pediatric Dental Group is a specialty pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a fun, supportive, and family-friendly environment. We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is positive, dependable, and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Pediatric dental experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
* Obtain and document patient medical histories from parent/guardian
* Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
* Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings), as permitted by certification
* Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures
* Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
* Provide post-operative instructions following procedures
* Educate families on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition
* Prepare, set up, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
* Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
* Support front and back office tasks as needed (scheduling, phones, charting, stocking supplies)
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
* Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) - required
* Florida Dental Radiographer (X-ray) certification - required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Pediatric dental experience preferred
