Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
ServiceNow Lead Developer
with strong expertise in
CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
to lead development, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and drive best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
Manage and enhance
CMDB , including data modeling, data governance, and integrations.
Oversee
Discovery ,
Service Mapping , and CMDB data accuracy and health.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide scalable solutions.
Support upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in
ServiceNow Development .
Deep expertise in
CMDB ,
Discovery , and
Service Mapping .
Experience with
ITSM ,
ITOM , and ServiceNow platform modules.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system integrations.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
ITIL Certification (preferred).
Experience leading teams or working in a lead/architect role.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership and team mentoring abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
