Role Overview
The Product Owner - Customer Solutions is the primary customer-facing owner of product outcomes for assigned accounts. This role leads customer discovery, shapes high-level requirements (the what and why), and drives alignment through demos, feedback loops, and UAT readiness. You will partner closely with the India-based Technical Product Owner who owns execution readiness, decomposition, and engineering delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Discovery & Requirements (Front-of-house ownership)
Lead customer workshops to understand business objectives, workflows, pain points, and success metrics.
Translate needs into epics/features, user journeys, and outcome-based requirements.
Define scope boundaries and clarify priorities in partnership with customer stakeholders.
Product Backlog Ownership (Value & priority)
Own and prioritize the functional backlog aligned to customer value, release goals, and contractual scope.
Ensure epics/stories include clear business context and acceptance outcomes.
Triage requests and feedback into bug, enhancement, or change request with appropriate follow-through.
Demos, UAT Enablement & Customer Communications
Run sprint reviews and milestone demos with a clear value narrative tied to customer outcomes.
Partner with the Technical PO and QA to prepare UAT: approach, walkthroughs, test readiness, and release notes inputs.
Maintain proactive communication on decisions, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
Release Readiness, Adoption & Stewardship
Coordinate adoption support (enablement, training inputs, release communications).
Capture post-release feedback and drive continuous improvement for usability and customer satisfaction.
Keep expectations aligned to deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
Governance & Stakeholder Alignment
Serve as the primary liaison between customer stakeholders and Aezion delivery leadership.
Drive timely decisions, approvals, and scope alignment to protect delivery outcomes.
Raise risks early and lead closure on action items across business and delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
10+ years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Customer Solutions role in software delivery.
Strong experience in Agile delivery environments and backlog management (Jira/Confluence or similar).
Demonstrated strength in customer discovery, requirements shaping, and executive-ready communication.
Ability to operate in distributed teams (USA customer + India engineering) with speed and clarity.
Preferred Qualifications
CSPO/PSPO (or equivalent).
Experience with B2B workflow-heavy products, integrations, and customer-facing demos.
Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud delivery models.
