Controller (Lancaster County)

The Controller is a key member of the Finance function whose objective is to ensure all company financial transactions and reporting are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This position reports into the CFO.
Responsibilities include:
Oversees the monthly Accounting close process and the production of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results are in accordance with GAAP
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; monitor effectiveness of departmental procedures and processes to ensure strong internal controls and accurate outcome of financial data
Prepares monthly/quarterly financial packages
Manages and develops the accounting team
Responsible for the management of cash position and projections
Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit
Responsible for compliance reporting, including but not limited to Form 990 filing, cost reporting, annual disclosure statement filings, and debt compliance.
Manages annual budget process and quarterly forecasts; works directly with operations and department managers to complete
Assists CFO with development of key financial metrics/analytics to be presented on a weekly basis to Senior Leadership
Prepares financial analysis for the CFO and Senior Leadership
