Soni is partnering with a well-established organization to identify an
Assistant Corporate Controller
to join their leadership team in Franklin, TN. This is a high-impact, fully onsite role responsible for supporting corporate accounting operations, managing a team, and partnering closely with executive leadership.
This position will play a key role in
driving financial accuracy, strengthening processes, and leading the month-end close and audit functions
across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee corporate accounting and consolidation processes across multiple business units
Manage and mentor the corporate accounting team, including Accounting Managers and staff
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review monthly financial reports for executive leadership (CEO/CFO)
Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors
Support preparation of financial statements and related reporting packages
Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data
Partner with internal stakeholders and global HQ on reporting requirements
Oversee tax-related activities, including coordination of income tax provisions, audits, and filings
Manage sales & use tax, property tax, and business license compliance
Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflow efficiency
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
CPA preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Strong background in general ledger, month-end close, consolidations, and audit support
Experience with financial reporting and working with executive leadership
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems (ERP experience required; D365 a plus)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Fully onsite role in Franklin, TN (not hybrid/remote)
High visibility position with direct interaction with executive leadership

Compensation:
$165,000 - $185,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
