
Project Cost Lead (Fort Worth)

The individual will be heavily involved in establishing and managing cost control frameworks for large-scale, ground-up industrial projects. This is an opportunity to contribute early in the lifecycle of high-impact capital programs tied to next-generation manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning and cost tracking efforts across multiple capital projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and regular reporting cadence
Partner closely with project managers to develop annual budgets and provide ongoing forecast updates
Design and maintain reporting tools and templates to ensure alignment between project teams and finance
Manage cash flow projections, accruals, and overall project spend visibility
Support capital request processes and monitor procurement activity to ensure accurate financial treatment of assets
Ensure adherence to internal accounting standards related to fixed assets and capital expenditures (PP&E)
Implement and maintain cost management systems (e.g., Ares Prism, EcoSys, or similar), ensuring alignment with ERP platforms like SAP
Work with accounting teams on project setup, coding structures, and data integrity
Establish and refine cost control processes, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications
Proven experience managing costs on medium to large-scale capital projects with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
Experience working with ERP systems or financial management platforms
3–5+ years of progressive experience in project controls, cost engineering, or similar functions
Background supporting industrial, manufacturing, or large infrastructure projects
