Role Overview We are seeking a senior-caliber Data Strategy Leader (Engagement Manager/Principal equivalent) to drive enterprise-level data architecture road mapping and AI-readiness initiatives.
This is a strategic, non-hands-on implementation role designed for an executive who bridges the gap between complex data ecosystems and C-suite business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings top-tier management consulting pedigree and the executive polish required to own storyline development, decision-ready presentations, and data maturity scoring for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Executive Communications & Story lining:
Own the end-to-end development of C-suite materials. Translate complex technology concepts (LLMs, knowledge management, data platforms) into crisp, compelling, and decision-ready PowerPoint presentations.

Data Strategy & Roadmapping:
Define and drive the enterprise data architecture roadmap across modern platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS).

Maturity Scoring & OKRs:
Develop detailed scorecards, maturity models, and quality/readiness metrics to track IT-level, AI-ready data OKRs.
· Outbound Leadership Comms : Support senior leadership with outbound communications, including newsletters, leadership emails, and internal campaigns, ensuring an authoritative, executive voice.
· Ecosystem Definition:
Champion the vision of a modern data system as an integrated ecosystem of sources, platforms, and governance designed to enable AI and drive business value.
Qualifications & Core Must-Haves
· Experience Level: 10–20+ years of total professional experience (Level 4 fit / 8+ years as a domain expert), including demonstrable senior leadership roles (e.g., ex-Interim CDO, CIO, or Principal Data Lead).
· Consulting Pedigree (Strict Requirement): 5+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture) at the Engagement Manager, Principal, or equivalent level. Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree highly preferred.
· Domain Expertise: Deep strategic understanding of Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks), and AI enablement.
· Technical Polish: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Highly proficient in PowerPoint (for executive storyline creation) and Excel (for OKR scorecards and maturity modeling).
