Overview We’re looking for an experienced space planning professional with strong program management and technical planning expertise to support a Space Planning team in shaping early-stage lab and workplace environments. This role focuses on driving feasibility studies, creating test fits, and leading lab and workplace planning efforts from initial concept through detailed planning and handoff for execution. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects stay aligned with aggressive timelines, established standards, and cross-functional requirements.
The ideal candidate brings a multidisciplinary background with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in lab and workplace planning, Revit modeling, feasibility analysis, and producing high-quality planning deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities Own and manage front-end space planning workflows and program processes for lab and workplace development initiatives
Lead multiple planning projects simultaneously, spanning infrastructure, lab, and workplace spaces from early concepts through detailed test fits and planning package delivery
Operate effectively in a high-velocity environment while balancing competing priorities and parallel workstreams
Partner on feasibility studies and develop optimized test fits that meet operational, regulatory, and design requirements
Convert design briefs, stakeholder inputs, and architectural constraints into detailed Revit models, space plans, and presentation-ready materials
Support post-planning activities, including model updates and documentation, to enable downstream design and construction teams
Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners (engineering, facilities, operations, lab users) to maintain alignment, resolve issues, and support timely decision-making
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
4–6 years of experience preferred (7 years max) in space planning, lab planning, or workplace design
Strong Revit skills (required) for modeling, space planning, and test fits
Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint
Experience leading front-end lab or workplace space planning efforts
Ability to produce test fits and 2D/3D models in Revit
Understanding of engineering disciplines, building codes, lab standards, and workplace ergonomics

Strong program management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
