Job Title: Field Network Engineer – Rack and Stack Installation
Duration: Temporary (2.5 Days (within next 10 days))
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Field Network Engineer to perform rack and stack installation and configuration of Cisco network hardware (C9407R, C9200L, and CW9162I APs) at a client site in Peach Springs, AZ. The engineer will handle hardware swaps, cabling, labeling, configuration migration, and connectivity testing in coordination with remote engineering support.
Key Responsibilities:
Unbox, document, and install Cisco switches and access points
Execute the Method of Procedure (MOP) for configuration and validation
Connect, label, and test patch cables as per the port map
Perform Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) with remote engineer
Capture pre/post-installation photos and update documentation
Provide up to 4 hours of Day 1 post-installation support
Requirements:
Proven hands-on experience with Cisco switch installation and configuration
Strong understanding of network cabling, labeling, and documentation
Ability to work independently on-site within defined maintenance windows
Good coordination and communication with remote teams
Must carry basic tools and a laptop for configuration and testing
Updated network documentation, pre/post-installation photos, and completed ATP sign-off.
