
Project Planning Lead (Fort Worth)

The Project Planning Lead is responsible for driving schedule strategy and execution across a portfolio of large-scale capital projects. This role owns the development and oversight of integrated project schedules, ensuring coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.
Core Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and continuously improve Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex capital programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align timelines across all phases of project delivery
Lead scheduling efforts from early planning through execution and final closeout
Analyze critical path activities, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to protect schedule milestones
Oversee planning activities across multiple active projects within a broader portfolio
Develop detailed schedules using Primavera tools (P6 and/or Primavera Cloud)
Incorporate cost and resource data into schedules to support forecasting and performance tracking
Align Statements of Work (SOW) with project timelines and key deliverables
Deliver regular updates, including schedule analysis, variances, and executive-level reporting
Ensure consistency between scheduling platforms and ERP systems such as SAP
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
Establish and standardize scheduling processes, tools, and best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
7+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling within large capital projects
Strong expertise with Primavera P6 and/or Primavera Cloud
Experience working within ERP environments such as SAP or Oracle-based systems
Proven ability to develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Experience functioning in a lead planning role with ownership over schedule outcomes
