Staff Accountant
opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role will work in a hybrid working capacity, 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
The Staff Accountant will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, GAAP accounting and the GL. This role is broader in nature touching multiple aspects of the P&L/ Balance Sheet.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
2+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
Strong GAAP working knowledge
Multi-location experience is a plus
