Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience supporting enterprise and factory network operations, including real‑time resolution of P1 production incidents.

Rate Range
$53/hour to $60/hour; negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

Provide 24×7 network operations support in a factory environment, resolving P1/production issues during business and non‑business hours as required.

Implement, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI environments, including APIC, EPGs, contracts, and fabric health.

Manage and support Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN‑OS/ Panorama), including security policies, NAT, routing, threat prevention, and IPSec VPNs.

Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks and load‑balancing solutions (F5), ensuring high availability and performance.

Lead complex end‑to‑end network troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, data center, and security domains using real‑time packet capture tools (Wireshark).

Support data center operations such as racking/stacking on demand and administering Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) with high availability and failover.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

6–10+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network engineering or network operations roles.

Expert‑level experience with Cisco ACI and Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy design, troubleshooting, VPNs, and Panorama management.

Proven ability to lead P1/production incident troubleshooting using advanced packet capture skills, with experience supporting factory or mission‑critical environments across LAN, WAN, data center, and security domains.

Pay Details
$53.00 to $60.00 per hour
