As the Business Development Manager at Lakewood Center , you will drive incremental revenue and strategic growth by leading high-impact partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising programs within a commercial real estate or retail environment. You will identify, negotiate, and secure opportunities with local, regional, and national brands, positioning the property to increase revenue, enhance brand visibility, and improve the customer experience.

You will develop and execute innovative, revenue-generating initiatives, including brand activations, experiential marketing, and non-traditional income streams, while building and managing strategic partnerships. You will leverage your sales expertise, creativity, and data-driven approach to deliver measurable results, optimize performance, and contribute to overall asset value and business growth.

To be successful, you should have:

3–5+ years of experience in business development, sponsorship sales, media sales, or partnerships

Proven track record of revenue generation

Strong commercial instincts and deal-making ability

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus

Your responsibilities as the Business Development Manager at Lakewood Center will include:

Own and deliver against annual business development revenue targets for the property

Identify, prospect, and secure new revenue streams through sponsorships, media, experiential activations, and partnerships

Develop and pitch custom, insight-driven partnership concepts

Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners

Structure and negotiate commercial agreements

Lead the creation of proposals and presentations

Oversee execution of partnerships and activations

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, leasing, and operations

Track and report ROI and performance metrics

Maintain market intelligence and trends

Represent the property at industry and community events
