We’re seeking a Senior Interior Design Project Manager to guide high-end interior design projects from concept through installation, bringing vision, precision, and momentum to every phase. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping design direction, managing teams, and ensuring projects run smoothly, balancing aesthetics, budgets, and timelines with confidence and clarity.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate seamlessly with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and fabricators across multiple projects
Lead all phases of the residential/commercial interior design process, including project setup, concept development, FF&E procurement, and installation
Partner with the Principal to define the design vision, color palettes, materials, furnishings, and accessories
Establish clear project objectives, requirements, schedules, and deliverables
Manage budgets, timelines, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
Develop and oversee sales orders aligned with design intent, budget, and client expectations
Support the development of custom furniture and bespoke design elements
Track and manage project financial performance and contract compliance
Review and approve client invoices
Delegate responsibilities and mentor junior designers and design assistants
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in interior design, technical design, or project management within residential design
Proven leadership experience managing multiple projects and mentoring teams
Strong organization, communication, and relationship-management skills
Demonstrated fiscal accountability and budget management experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Understanding of sustainable sourcing with interest in advancing sustainability initiatives
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in a nimble environment
