Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services company, is looking for a Project Manager – Tech Delivery and Governance. We are seeking a Project Manager to support a technology engineering team by driving execution discipline, delivery transparency, and governance rigor. This role will partner closely with engineering leads, product owners, and stakeholders to manage project plans, track milestones, maintain JIRA hygiene, and support audit and compliance activities. The Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring work is well structured, risks are surfaced early, and delivery commitments are met.

Experience of the right candidate:
5+ years of Project or Program Management experience supporting technology or software delivery teams.
Strong hands on experience with JIRA (issue management, reporting, workflows).
Proven ability to manage complex timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple streams of work.
Experience supporting audit, governance, or compliance efforts in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
Own and maintain end to end project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Actively track execution progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, driving mitigation plans.
Manage and maintain JIRA boards to ensure epics, stories, and tasks are clearly defined, sized, prioritized, and assigned.
Support audit, risk, and compliance activities by maintaining clear project documentation, artifacts, and evidence.
