Position: Manager in Training (MIT)
This is an exciting leadership development opportunity designed for driven professionals who want to grow into management roles within our sales organization.
As an MIT, you'll:
- Develop innovative strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Build meaningful, lasting customer relationships
- Gain hands-on leadership and management experience
- Work alongside a supportive and collaborative team
What You'll Do
Customer & Sales Leadership
- Build strong relationships with Store Managers and key accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and convert competitor accounts
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
- Negotiate pricing and prepare sales agreements
- Ensure accounts align with company policies and standards
Team Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with various departments
- Represent Pepsi MidAmerica in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain strong relationships with coworkers and customers
Management Development
- Manage multiple projects and priorities
- Analyze situations and solve problems effectively
- Participate in regular training and leadership development
- Support personnel evaluation and development
What You Bring
- 2+ years of management experience required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
(4+ years of management experience may substitute for degree) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, research, reporting)
- Physical stamina for travel and being on your feet
- Must reside in the Effingham, IL area
- Pay Range: $50,000 to $70,000
