We are partnered with a leading contractor supporting the energy, chemical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors to identify a
Safety Specialist (HSE)
to support field operations across pipeline, facility, and industrial construction projects.
This role will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering closely with field leadership to support safe and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce HSE policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements across active job sites
• Conduct field audits, inspections, and safety observations; identify hazards and support corrective actions
• Lead toolbox talks, participate in JSA reviews, and support incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Track and report safety metrics, trends, and corrective actions
• Support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with project teams and field leadership to proactively manage risk across pipeline and facility construction activities
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of field safety experience supporting pipeline, oil & gas, industrial, or heavy construction projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and HSE best practices
• Experience with incident reporting, audits, hazard identification, and corrective action tracking
• OSHA 30 required; additional certifications preferred
• Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites as needed

• 6-month contract with potential to convert direct hire
• Per diem available for non-local candidates
