An established firm based in St. Louis, Missouri with over 40+ years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role involves significant experience with commercial litigation, business disputes, contract claims, and complex civil matters, representing closely held businesses and corporate clients in state and federal courts while managing cases through all phases of litigation.

QualificationsActive Missouri Bar membership in good standingThree years of experience handling commercial litigation and complex business disputesStrong experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositionsExperience appearing in Missouri state and federal courtsExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with litigation teamsStrong client communication skills and sound professional judgment

ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and substantive legal memorandaConduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and trialsDevelop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk assessment and dispute resolution optionsCollaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver efficient and effective legal servicesManage active caseloads while meeting court deadlines and client expectations - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
