Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a difference in school settings near Jersey City, NJ. These contract roles focus on serving students either as maternity leave coverage or at the Pre-K level, with immediate start dates and assignments running through June 25th. Extended School Year (ESY) participation is not required. Engage with a supportive team of district Speech Therapists while working directly with students who benefit greatly from your expertise. Whether you’re covering a maternity leave or taking on a Pre-K caseload, collaboration and shared resources make for an enriching environment that values each clinician’s contributions. Desired Skills & Experience:Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programActive New Jersey SLP license and Department of Education certification (or in process)Previous experience providing speech therapy in school settings, especially at the Pre-K or early childhood level, preferredStrong collaboration, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to adapt interventions based on diverse student needsCommitment to meeting IEP goals and timelines Core Responsibilities:Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to assigned studentsAssess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plansParticipate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with staff and familiesMaintain accurate records and document services in accordance with district policiesCollaborate daily with both on-site SLPs and multidisciplinary teamsUtilize specialized tools and techniques to maximize student outcomes Take part in a dynamic, collaborative work environment where your expertise is appreciated, and each day brings opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
