Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role focuses on supporting one 6th grade student at a single school site, providing tailored therapy to ensure their success in the school environment. The assignment runs from August 5, 2026, through May 28, 2027, allowing you to enjoy a school-based schedule with flexibility in your commitments. Key Requirements:Valid PT license with eligibility to practice in a school settingPrevious experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferredStrong background in delivering individualized care and adaptive strategies for middle school studentsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providersExceptional organizational skills and confidence managing a small caseload Primary Responsibilities:Assess the student’s abilities to develop and implement a personalized intervention planWork directly with the 6th grade student during 1-4 hours per week at the designated school siteDocument progress and provide timely updates to the educational teamParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for student growth and accessAdapt sessions as needed to address changing needs or increased hours due to new enrollments Enjoy the opportunity to make a focused, positive impact while maintaining a manageable, part-time schedule.
