Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Digital Animation in the School of Art and Design with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine‑month contracted position. The position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate courses in the BFA in Digital Animation program.
Service on departmental committees as assigned or elected.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Animation or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and in software related to 2D and/or 3D Digital Animation.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience and an established record of professional achievement.
Online teaching experience.
Familiarity with industry software such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Harmony, including Toon‑Boom and Storyboard Pro.
2D and/or 3D animation production, interactivity, design, and technology.
Expertise in a secondary area of specialization – such as motion graphics, illustration, sequential art.
