Heavy Equipment Manager
to support day‑to‑day operations within their equipment division based in
Southern Kentucky . This role works closely with senior leadership and plays a key part in managing maintenance activities, supporting technicians, and ensuring equipment and fleet operations run efficiently. There is

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Equipment Division Manager with daily operational and maintenance activities.
Perform and oversee
heavy equipment and diesel truck repairs , maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues and support complex repairs.
Schedule service work and coordinate shop and field maintenance activities.
Lead and support a team of mechanics, setting priorities and ensuring quality work.
Support
parts and equipment purchasing , inventory coordination, and vendor interaction.
Maintain accurate
DOT, equipment, and maintenance records .
Ensure compliance with safety standards, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment uptime.

5+ years of experience
in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical systems,
hydraulics , and
diesel engines .
Prior experience leading or coordinating mechanics or maintenance teams preferred.
CDL strongly preferred .
Detail‑oriented, task‑focused, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel; comfortable using maintenance systems.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
