We are looking for a Night Mechanic who will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment. This overnight position plays a critical role in ensuring all equipment is inspected, maintained, and fully operational for morning dispatch. USA RESIDENTS ONLY
Key Responsibilities
Check and change engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and other essential fluids
Perform routine inspections of diesel trucks and heavy machinery
Complete minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
identify potential mechanical issues and report major repairs to management
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Ensure all equipment is ready and operational for morning dispatch
Qualifications
Experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment is preferred.
Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs independently
Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
Strong attention to detail and safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight hours
Physical Requirements
Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and shop environments
Clean and maintain the maintenance shop and wash bays
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
