Analyst, Business Development – RIA Group. Nashville, TN
Description
About Us: Headquartered in Chicago, Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC is an investment bank that combines Wall Street scale with the agility of an independent, employee-owned firm. We help financial institutions uncover overlooked opportunities, navigate complexity, and make decisions grounded in insight—not impulse. Our work is focused on long‑term impact and relationships built on what matters most: trust and enduring performance.
About the Position:
Performance Trust Capital Partners is seeking a motivated, early‑career sales professional to join our RIA Group, a specialized business unit that serves Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) across the country.
The primary responsibility of this role is outbound business development, including proactively contacting RIAs, clearly articulating Performance Trust’s value proposition, and generating introductory meetings for senior team members. Success in this position requires persistence, patience, and a disciplined, consistent approach to outreach. RIA relationships typically develop over time, so this role is focused on long‑term pipeline development rather than “quick wins”.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the challenges of sales, is comfortable with proactive outreach, and is eager to build a long‑term career in financial services. This role will be based in the Nashville, TN office, and you will be required to be fully onsite.
Responsibilities
Conduct proactive outreach to Registered Investment Advisors nationwide via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Secure introductory meetings with prospective advisory firms for a senior team member
Maintain consistent follow‑up and long‑term engagement with prospects who are not ready to move immediately
Build and manage a growing pipeline of RIA relationships over time
Track activity, outreach, and notes in CRM
Qualifications
1–3 years of sales, business development, or client‑facing experience
Some exposure to outbound sales or prospecting (financial services a plus, but not required)
Strong communication skills and professional presence
Resilient, disciplined, and comfortable with rejection
Coachable and willing to follow a developing process while helping refine it
Comfortable taking the initiative and working independently
License Requirement(s): FINRA SIE and Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of hire date
Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre‑defined performance factors.
