Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Work full time, 37.5 hours per week, with a school year assignment beginning July 27, 2026 and continuing through June 4, 2027. Youll play a critical role in fostering student success by providing screening, assessment, and intervention services within an educational setting. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology requiredCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association preferredG License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is mandatoryLicense from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be heldPrevious experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic newcomers with the required credentials are encouraged to applyStrong planning, organization, and communication skills essential Key Responsibilities:Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and diagnostics for studentsDevelop and oversee implementation of individualized therapy plansCollaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational goalsProvide informed recommendations and consultations as part of the IEP teamMaintain detailed records of progress, reporting findings as requiredAdvise on strategies and interventions to support student communication and language development in the classroom Make a positive impact while engaging in meaningful work that enhances students growth every day.
