Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Valid Texas Driver's License and be eligible for coverage under the City of Early vehicle insurance provider. High school diploma or equivalency. Excellent command of the English language, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that evidences a comprehensive knowledge of required job duties and expectations. Candidates with experience in travel and tourism and a knowledge and appreciation of Early and Brown County are preferred. Must pass a drug screen and background check. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or experience.
Special Requirements
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The position involves frequent lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Subject to the handling of materials and equipment, refined skill, vision, hearing, and talking often; standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, and foot controls occasionally; reaching, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, and climbing rarely. This position will require long hours in front of a computer screen. Working conditions are in an office environment with occasional exposure to variable and extreme weather conditions. This position description has been prepared to assist in defining job responsibilities, physical demands, and skills needed. It is not intended as a complete list of job duties, obligations, and essential functions.
