Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. This engaging role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills during the academic year, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students. Most assignments will be at a single campus, although occasional coverage at a second school may be needed. If you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll also have the chance to provide supervision. Key Qualifications:Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered School-based experience and familiarity with interventions for elementary students are highly desirable Comfortable supervising, if applicable Ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to a diverse elementary caseload Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for speech and language disorders Document therapy, progress, and communication with parents and staff Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support IEPs Occasionally travel between two schools, if needed Provide supervision to Clinical Fellows if holding CCC
