Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Staunton, VA, for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter. The CAD Drafter will create detailed technical, architectural, and engineering drawings using CAD software to support project design and execution. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with engineers and designers to translate concepts into workable drawings, maintaining accurate project documentation, and contributing to innovative custom‑project solutions. The role requires high precision and technical expertise to ensure quality and functionality of all designs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software
Experience creating technical, engineering, and architectural drawings
Strong drawing and concept‑translation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Design is a plus
Familiarity with engineered textiles and/or fabrication processes is advantageous
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
