Salary
$110,000 – $140,000 base + performance-based bonus
Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive growth within the top 1,000 U.S. public K12 school districts across an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and executing sales plans across a portfolio of technology products including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and product teams
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned K12 school districts
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
Drive revenue growth and manage performance against defined targets
Deliver presentations, trainings, and product updates to customers
Maintain consistent communication across a large account base
Travel regularly for onsite meetings, trainings, and account development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years of outside sales experience in IT hardware, software, or services
Strong understanding of public sector and K12 sales environments
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotasExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence stakeholders
Experience with reseller channels and distribution models preferred
Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving skills
