Overview Position: Design Coordinator
Location: Nappanee, IN | 100% Onsite
About The Opportunity: For a Design Coordinator
Responsibilities Join a collaborative team supporting the administrative and organizational needs of the interior design department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-driven work, strong organization, and supporting creative teams behind the scenes
You’ll play a key role in ensuring product colors, specifications, and design details are entered accurately for manufacturing and vendor communication
Enter and maintain product colors, descriptions, specifications, and coding information to support accurate manufacturing setup and production flow
Manage department spreadsheets, design records, and specification documents with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organize fabric samples, vendor catalogs, and approved materials while maintaining the design workroom and supporting sample labeling
Assist with preparing fabric selections for new model years and coordinate materials for internal review before purchasing and production use
Track new part numbers, update internal records, and place orders for design materials and department supplies as needed
Coordinate scheduling and communication between the design team, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field preferred
Previous experience in design support, product coordination, administrative support, or manufacturing documentation preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required
Experience with CAD software or other design-related systems is a plus
Interest in interior design, product development, textiles, or manufacturing processes is highly valued
Key Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with data entry and specifications
Organized and dependable with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Ability to work closely with designers while supporting administrative project needs
Strong communication skills and follow-through with vendors and internal teams
Self-starter who can work independently and stay ahead of deadlines
Visual awareness and appreciation for design presentation is a strong plus
Salary and Additional Details Salary: $52,000–$62,400 annually, depending on experience | Fully onsite position in Nappanee, IN
