The unit encompasses three locations-the Kennedy Library in San Luis Obispo, the Maritime Library in Vallejo, and the library aboard the training ship-providing diverse, innovative resources and services to the Cal Poly community.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
• MLS/MLIS degree from an American Library Association accredited program or equivalent.
• Five or more years of progressive administrative and leadership experience in an academic or research library, including responsibility for personnel supervision, operations, and resource allocation.
• Has held faculty or equivalent professional status as a librarian or has experience in academic libraries where librarians hold faculty or equivalent professional status.
Salary and Benefits
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $190,000- $231,000. Note that the offer is calculated based on the background and relevant years of experience of the individual selected.
