Air Export Coordinator | Elk Grove, IL | Salary up to $65,000

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end air export process, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute international air export shipments from origin to destination
• Prepare and review export documentation including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international shipping requirements
• Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment handling
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders
• Arrange bookings with carriers and negotiate rates when necessary
• Handle billing, invoicing, and file management for export shipments
• Resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain accurate records in transportation management systems

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in air export or international freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of air export procedures, documentation, and compliance regulations
• Familiarity with TSA, IATA, and U.S. Customs export requirements preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
