We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of frozen desserts, pastries or other sweet goods. We encourage our team to use their skills in baking high quality treats because we value creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to our strict health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible products. What You Will Do: Helping in the creation and development of many different forms of frozen desserts for clients both in USA and around the world. Preparing a wide variety of goods such as ice cream cakes, ice cream pies, cookies, and brownie following proprietary MSI recipes Prepare samples and use ice cream making equipment What You Will Bring: Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role Great attention to detail and creativity Organizing and leadership skills Willingness to replenish professional knowledge In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition Working knowledge of ice cream production, with knowledge baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.) Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field Why You'll Love Us: For the past 45 years, Malcolm Stogo, Inc, an international ice cream consulting firm located in West Orange, New Jersey, is also the home of Ice Cream University Culinary Center, helping leading ice cream chains, such as the Haagen-Dazs Company, Stonyfield Farms, Carvel, Colombo, Sloan’s, Shrivers, JD’S Vegan, and Stogo in the USA.
