Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 + Bonus
Growing Established Law Firm Seeks Matrimonial Attorney to join their team!
Responsibilities
Manage caseload of complex family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division & other related matters
Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their legal needs and determine the best course of action
Prepare and draft legal documents such as divorce papers, custody agreements, and prenuptial agreements
Gathering evidence, including financial evidence.
Preparing necessary documentation.
Handling issues related to child custody and visitation.
Referring to mediation.
Advocating for clients in hearings.
Overseeing family estates.
Providing advice on areas such as adoption and guardianship.
Skills & Experience
New York Bar Admission
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
4-5+ years’ experience in family law practice environment
Exposure to Microsoft Now / LexisNexis / PerfectLaw or Westlaw software
