The Financial Analyst I - Pricing is responsible for coordinating the execution of market facing pricing. This position requires strong analytical skills and business acumen. The role will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying pricing with heavy interaction with the sales team. This individual will work cross functionally to identify current pricing procedures, clarify, and execute pricing objectives.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer price sheets/quotes within ERP systems including customer notification windows

Manage the integrity of the organization’s pricing framework ensuring continuity between ERP systems

Maintain accurate records of historical price increases including basis of justification

Assist in the implementation of a unified pricing structure across Icon Protection addressing competitive crossover, profit leaks, pricing disparities, and channel specific requirements

Collaborate with Sales Operations Manager to plan and coordinate the execution of pricing plans that increase price realization and align timing to market for key customer accounts

Support pricing realization efforts with major customers by assisting in the completion of the standard customer requested pricing and line review templates

Analyze the financial performance of discounts, rebates, and promotional campaigns to determine ROI and recommend future adjustments

Collaborate with finance leadership to implement and monitor price fluctuation impact against gross margin targets by product line amongst varying sales channels

Create financial models to analyze pricing scenarios and their impact on revenue and margin

Provide expertise and guidance to sales and marketing teams with respect to customer pricing initiatives including new item quotations, discounts, and promotional opportunities

Establish review cadence to monitor key market indices and key account pricing providing proactive insight and recommendations to defend product margins

Conduct customer/product profitability analysis

Assist in deployment of new ERP systems by instituting best practices in pricing record maintenance and quotation development

Qualifications

College degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent required

1 year of experience in an accounting, pricing, business analytic, and/or finance role required

2+ years of experience in business, accounting, and/or finance experience preferred

Demonstrated strong aptitude for problem-solving, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications

Proficiency in ERP and Business Intelligence tools (i.e. SAP, QlikSense, Microsoft BI, etc.)

Must be strategic and results-oriented

Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver first-time quality product within deadlines

Must be self-motivated

Ability to present and communicate at all business levels from Executive Team to entry level

Ability to travel up to 10% of time
